Nassim Quattro offers a taste of living in the lap of luxury, with glamorous interiors crafted by K2SD Group

Standing proud in the affluent Nassim Road neighbourhood is Nassim Quattro, one of the latest entrants to Singapore’s super-luxurious property market. The development is designed to set new benchmarks for impeccable style and exclusivity.

Launched by developer De Nassim, this freehold mansion is located on an elevated plot of land on Nassim Road. It is sectioned into four residences to house four families, while preserving the environment of a Good Class Bungalow with its verdant surroundings and capacious sense of space inside and out.

The developer appointed K2SD Group for the interior design and styling of the property’s show unit, sales gallery, entrance foyer, and carpark, as well as the upcoming design for the fully fitted unit upon purchase.

The show unit was done up to demonstrate the exquisite attention to detail and grand volume of each space. The travertine walls of the newly-built show unit border an off-white zone that features pops of colour, and a lively mix of textures and patterns, adorned with designer furnishings, Lalique tableware, and some other notable furniture brands.

From the living hall to the bedrooms, the various interior spaces feature an opulent look and feel, with luxurious metallic accents, lively prints and statement pieces acting as perfect counterpoints to the overall neutral scheme.

K2SD Group will also work with the new homeowners on space planning, renovating, and furnishing their homes. Together with Arcadia Consulting, a real estate consulting and brokerage firm, the design has been studied with an understanding of the needs and wants of ultra-high net worth individuals for their homes.

The details were also finalised based on the current owner’s requirements and wants. “As a developer and an owner himself, while he intends to sell these residences, he intends to continue to make it a work of art,” says Kelly Kawahara Cheah, founding principal of K2SD Group.

For instance, the penthouse can be combined with the unit below it as part of the ‘Ambassador’ concept to form a spacious property with 10 bedrooms—this would include the potential to create a generously-sized 20-seater living hall, an 18-seater dining hall, a wine chiller room, family hall and a private home office.

The four residential units can also be combined to form a single house with four different zones to become suitable for a multigenerational family to live together, or for potential buyers who wish to separate home, work, and entertainment areas clearly and neatly across the spaces.

Based on this ‘Ambassador’ theme, the unit would feature colours and materials in dark tones, specially designed to be timeless, yet offer lavish comfort. For owners that favour a more glamorous design scheme, the firm proposes a design concept dubbed ‘Champagne’, which combines luxurious gold tones with glamorous accents to give an opulent warmth to the interior.

The sales gallery was designed to be “sublime”, and to embody the connections between K2SD’s creative philosophy and the property’s original design intent of conveying both a sense of grandeur and timelessness, as well as the spaciousness of the unit and the beauty of the space inside and out.

The entire facade of the building and the interior are clad with travertine sourced from a stone quarry in Rome. “There are many forms of travertines in the world, but travertine from Rome is getting rarer,” adds Cheah. To create this timeless palette for a “first-class allure”, a sculptural Cattelan Italia stone table was selected for the entryway of the sales gallery, accompanied by other modern design furniture from notable Italian manufacturers; these include an L-shaped sofa from Flexform, and other designs from Lema that were selected for its timeless, clean-lined look.

Setting the stage for grandeur is the 85m-long travertine-walled private driveway that leads to the basement carpark—the client sought a makeover for the latter as it was deemed too dull and dark. “The client wanted a refreshed, timeless look, along with new furnishings,” says Cheah, elaborating that “grandeur and exclusivity” was her firm’s key guiding principle on the Nassim Quattro project.

K2SD Group transformed a carpark into an exclusive gallery-like setting for every residence. Appearing almost like an art installation are the lighting strips installed on the ceiling that curl in cloud-like forms, which mirror the curvaceous designs of the prized automobiles. The basement features four foyers—one for each unit—coupled with a concierge.

Overall, the liberal application of natural stone varieties such as travertine, marble, granite, and onyx throughout the built spaces also lends a timeless sense of style, while the lush beauty of the surrounding greenery boosts the property’s overarching aesthetic.
