Get very comfy at home for the holidays and beyond—we offer some fun and cosy interpretations of Oxford’s 2022 Word of the Year

Described as “unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy behaviour”, Goblin Mode has been the social media buzzword of the moment, especially after being coined Oxford’s Word of The Year in 2022.

Mirroring the Goblin Mode effect, take a languorous backseat on a sofa close to the ground while slurping down some cup noodles as you catch the next Netflix flick. Catch some Zs in a comfortable bed you would not want to resist getting up from with your new favourite sheets and wake up the next day listening to your favourite music in the shower with those all-the-rage speakers as you continue your daily rituals.

Here to inspire is our list of cosy furniture and decor pieces to get into Goblin Mode for that much-needed me time.
