The Italian manufacturer’s commitment to innovation doesn’t end there; as part of its Cassina Lab project, its research and development team also collaborates with the design department of the notable Politecnico University in Milan to improve its production processes while being mindful of its ecological impact.

This seventies-era collection is another unmissable design from Cassina that has been gradually making its comeback among designers and homeowners alike; these sofas and armchairs have been spotted in celebrity homes and the stylish abodes of tastemakers around the world.
First produced in 1969, its unconventional painted steel frame holds the biodegradable polyurethane foam seat in a vice-like grip. Recent innovations by the research and development team has also resulted in a plush padding made with 100 per cent recycled plastic that needs no internal support to further enhance the comfort that this sofa offers. Its base is composed of recyclable wooden panels that have been produced with low formaldehyde emissions.

This family of furniture designs is the brainchild of Patricia Urquiola—it is loosely inspired by the practice in Japan of reconstructing temples such as the Ise Shrine, in honour of artisan craft and Shinto beliefs related to the natural cycle of death and rebirth.
With that cyclical practice in mind, Urquiola has teamed up with Cassina Lab to create the Sengu sofa comprising cushions that are filled with 100 per cent recycled fibre, and can be accompanied with corner and elements such as a low table or ottoman. This sectional seat can be accompanied by the Sengu tables, which come in various heights and crafted with a marble base in a brushed matte satin finish and a table top made with wood panels in a natural oak, black stained oak or lacquered finish.

Created in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her Parisian abode, this iconic swivel chair is now instantly recognisable and known for both its functionality and versatility. Since its launch at the Salon d’Automne in France in 1929, the chair has since become part of the larger LC7 family of furniture designs that Perriand co-authored with Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret.
Comprising a padded seat cushion and backrest that can be upholstered in leather or fabric, each seat can feature four or five legs; its tubular steel structure features a polished chrome or painted finish in a hue that can match the colour of your selected upholstery fabric.

True to the Spanish designer’s elegant design ethos, this wooden cabinet features a contoured form that curves gracefully around its edges to impart an inviting ambience in your home. The Rondos cabinet is available in two sizes for the bedroom with various drawer configurations, and two other sizes for the living areas such that the latter can feature drawers or serve as an open-front cabinet.
