Bowers & Wilkins is a renowned name in this field for more than 50 years. Preferred by some of the world's leading recording studios, their speakers are used by London's Abbey Road Studios, even chosen to be its official speaker and headphone partner.
Its latest, the 800 Series Diamond Range, sets an even higher bar. A powerful loudspeaker set, it's fitted with revolutionary technologies and does the job beautifully. A masterpiece six years in the making, each component has been completely reimagined to suit the demands of today's tech-savvy audience. The new range comprises seven models.
Appearance-wise, it instantly catches the eye with its Satin Walnut finish for a glossier look, joining the range of Gloss Black, White and Satin Rosenut that is distinguished by its innovative stain treatment that guarantees a long-lasting shine. This sleekness is complemented with a redefined version of the classic Solid Body Tweeter-On-Top housing that offers a better range of sounds. Sculpted from a single block of aluminium, the elongated tube-loading system prevents any unwanted resonance. The separation of the Solid Body Tweeter from Turbine Head or speaker body, depending on model, allows for spaciousness and openness within the speaker.
Fluidity as well as mechanical and acoustic performance are enhanced with the new reverse-wrap cabinet design, which is featured in the 805 D4 and 804 D4 models. Both consist of added improvements, such as a stiff aluminium plate to avoid resonance and thicker plywood panels. All cabinets are thoughtfully fitted with Matrix, with interlocked panels within for better rigidity.
803 D4, 802 D4 and 801 D4 offer excellent acoustic form and improved isolation with an all-aluminium Turbine Head enclosure for their midrange drive units and decoupled assembly. Each model undergoes a transformation with better rigidity in mind. They feature aluminium tops, drive units housed in stiff aluminium pods, and crossover units attached to aluminium spines on the cabinet. 801 D4 takes it a step further with a steel plate in its base section around the port.

The iconic Continuum Cone makes a return in this range, famed for its neutral and transparent performance. A step above the traditional cone, it is combined with the Fixed Suspension Transducer (FST) technology to avoid the colouration of sound. Abandoning the traditional fabric spider, the Biomimetic Suspension is a revolutionary addition to reduce unwanted air pressure.
