With an eye for both function and design, SmartAge transforms homes into living and breathing spaces that enhance every moment of life

Inspired by Dubai's acclaimed Museum of the Future, SmartAge introduces its latest innovation, Home of the Future. While the Museum of the Future offers a glimpse into life in 2071, Home of the Future shows us what life can be like today when we’ve fully maximised the technologies that we have. This newest experiential space brings the future to the present, demonstrating how today's advanced technologies can transform our lives right now.

As you walk through the doors, it’s evident that Home of the Future is far more than a mere showroom. Designed by Studio BDJ, a dynamic studio led by the renowned Budji Layug and principal architect Marc Henrich Go, this space is where cutting-edge technology and sophisticated design converge. Each element has been thoughtfully designed to showcase the future of residential living—today. Imagine beginning your day not with a typical alarm, but with the natural light filtering through as your curtains gracefully open. Your chosen soundtrack fills the room and sets the tone for an energetic start. From the moment you wake up, the brand's intuitive system begins to craft your day.

A SmartAge home is where every feature responds to your presence. It doesn’t stop at convenience, it redefines home interaction by introducing a sixth sense: a seamless, intuitive connection between your environment and your needs. Your home anticipates your desires, responding to your voice, gestures, and even your mood. This isn’t just convenience; it’s a new paradigm in how we engage with our living spaces.

SmartAge stands out for its dedication to creating living environments that are not just efficient but also intuitive and adaptive. Home of the Future exemplifies how the company’s technology evolves in sync with its residents. Whether it’s optimising your workspace during the day or setting the perfect ambience for an evening gathering, their intelligent systems are designed to adapt to your unique lifestyle.

This visionary approach to home living can be traced back to Gabriel Henares Esguerra’s inspiration from his maternal grandfather, Larry Henares. As a graduate of MIT, Larry was an early adopter of technologies like alarms, sensors, and home theatre systems in his home as early as the 1970s. His keen interest in building technologies for personal use sparked Esguerra’s own passion for innovation. Together with his wife, Meecan Esguerra, they founded SmartAge, driven by their shared commitment to bringing advanced technology and experiential design into the homes of today.

Home of the Future isn’t just a showcase of SmartAge’s offerings; it’s a hands-on exploration of how technology can enrich daily life. Designed as a fully functional living space—including a bedroom, living room, and kitchen—visitors can see and feel how SmartAge seamlessly integrates luxury, convenience, and innovation into every aspect of home living.
