Over two intimate nights in the B&B Italia and Maxalto galleries at Space Furniture, Tatler Homes Singapore honoured the 14 firms that have won the most across 10 years of the Tatler Homes Design Awards
This year, the Tatler Homes Design Awards marked its 10th edition in Singapore, and with it a decade of championing the very best of residential design in Singapore and beyond. Looking back over those 10 years, a pattern emerged: certain names kept appearing on our nomination lists, edition after edition, and kept winning.
To celebrate them, Tatler Homes Singapore created the Hall of Fame, honouring the firms with the most wins across the awards’ history, and gathered them for two intimate nights at Space Furniture. It was our way of saying thank you to the studios that have shaped the awards as much as the awards have celebrated them.

The first Hall of Fame night unfolded in the B&B Italia Gallery on the ground floor, a space that felt less like a showroom and more like the home of a particularly well-travelled friend. Guests in cocktail chic arrived to drinks, canapés and arrangements by Fiore Dorato, and the evening quickly settled into the easy warmth of old acquaintances catching up, the kind of gathering where the guests already know one another’s work by heart.

Kelly Williams, head of commercial development and procurement at Space Furniture, opened the evening by welcoming guests and speaking about the role Space Furniture plays as a trusted partner for sourcing high-end furniture, and about the value of occasions like this in fostering lasting relationships across the design community. Also hosting the table from Space Furniture was David Hartikainen, head of interiors and business development at Space Furniture.
Asih Jenie, Editor of Tatler Homes Singapore, followed by thanking the Hall of Famers for trusting Tatler Homes to share the stories behind their best work over the past decade.

The Hall of Fame recognises firms by the number of Tatler Homes Design Awards they have won between 2017 and 2026, across three tiers. Silver honours firms with two or three wins, Gold those with four, and Platinum those with five or more. As the awards continue into their second decade and these firms keep adding to their tallies, a higher tier may well be introduced to recognise those who reach new milestones.
This year’s Hall of Fame commemorative trophies are crafted from a mirrored silver frame by Christofle, the French silversmith, a fitting keepsake for firms whose work has stood the test of a decade.

Dinner followed, with each course presented by Fariz Ramli, Culinary Director of Gastrogig. A French king scallop crudo with citrus, tempura crisp and salmon caviar opened the meal, followed by a delicate sashimi of skipjack tuna with avocado, cucumber, buttermilk and dill oil. Olive oil-poached Greenland halibut arrived in a caviar chive beurre blanc, before a main of roast Wagyu beef and braised cheek with creamed mushroom ragout.
A deconstructed tarte tatin of caramelised apple, puff pastry and walnut, served with Tahitian vanilla and sour cream ice cream, brought the meal to a sweet close. The night ended with the Hall of Famers gathering for a group photo, frames in hand, before lingering over conversation as the rain carried on outside.

Night two: the Maxalto Gallery
Heavy rain swept across Bencoolen Street on the night of 22 September, but inside Space Furniture the mood was anything but grey. This time, guests gathered on Level 2A in the Maxalto Gallery, where Fiore Dorato’s florals set an elegant scene among the brand’s refined, tailored pieces. The atmosphere was just as convivial, with designers swapping stories and catching up like the old friends many of them are.

Before the formalities began on level 2A, Williams led an impromptu tour of the showroom, giving guests a closer look at the collections on display, from the B&B Italia collection on the ground floor up to level 2 and mezzanine.
Williams then opened proceedings with a warm welcome, describing Space as a dependable ally for those in search of the finest furniture, and reflecting on how evenings like this bring the design community closer together.

Jenie then thanked the Hall of Famers for entrusting Tatler Homes with the stories of their finest projects over the past decade, before presenting each firm with its Christofle mirrored silver frame. Among them was Design Intervention, whose seven wins make it the most awarded firm in the history of the Tatler Homes Design Awards.

Fariz Ramli once again guided guests through the menu. A yellowtail tartare on brioche with cucumber, avocado and coriander set the tone, followed by pan-seared king scallops with cauliflower crème, beurre noisette and chives. Chilled angel hair pasta with seaweed, charred Argentinian prawns and lobster bisque came next, before a main of Barbary duck, with roast breast and confit leg, potato mousseline and foie gras sauce. A Valrhona molten chocolate cake with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and strawberry rounded off the evening, with a vegetarian menu prepared for those who requested it.
As on the first night, the Hall of Famers came together for a group photo, frames held high, a fitting picture of a decade’s worth of excellence in one room.
Ten years on, the Tatler Homes Design Awards are as much about community as they are about recognition, and these two nights were a reminder of the friendships that have grown alongside the work. To our Hall of Famers: thank you for a decade of extraordinary homes, and here’s to many more in the years to come.
