Whose living room is this? Kim Shin (the Goblin) and Wang Yeo (the Grim Reaper) 

Traits: Both the Goblin and Wang Yeo share a very serious take in life due to their past traumas. Both of the characters have been living around Korea for a long time which explains why their home is filled with old-fashioned cabinets and doors.

What stands out: The things that stand out in their elegant mansion is the clash of rustic wood and modernised white walls. The small aqua blue sofa, which was carefully placed in the middle of the room, also gave life to what would have been a rather bland setting.

2. Crash Landing on You (CLOY)

Whose living room is this? Yoon Se-ri

Traits: Yoon Se-ri enjoys being with the people who love her not because of her social status. She is an adventurous woman who wants to escape the harsh realities of life through her unconventional hobbies (like parasailing). 

What stands out: One can easily point out what stands out in Se-ri's living room: the colourful orange sofa that is reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesen West house in Arizona. The hues blended well with the bright blue carpet in the middle of the living room.

Whose living room is this? Shin Woo-yeo

Traits: Shin Woo-yeo is a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox who carries with him the wisdom of a decades-long life. Like the Goblin and the Grim Reaper from Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, Woo-yeo also keeps rustic and old-fashioned wooden designs in his house.

What stands out: The bricked walls that wrap Woo-yeo's entrance door stand out the most. It gives his living area a 'cottagecore' vibe that does not ruin the motif of his modernised home.

4. My Love From the Star

Whose living room is this? Do Min-joon

Traits: Do Min-joon is a four hundred-year-old, human-looking alien who takes life very seriously. This attitude is seen in the sharp details of his luxury condo unit. The colours of his living area vary from white, black, and grey.

What stands out: The living quarters of Min-joon looks very organised because of the uniformed palette he has put all over the place. The house still feels cosy despite the sleek and sharp interior design.

5. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?

Whose living room is this? Lee Young-joon

Traits: Lee Young-joon is a self-confident vice chairman of a well-known conglomerate in South Korea, thanks to his highly-capable secretary Kim Mi-so. His huge and spacious living area mirrors the bulk of fortune he has in his bank.

What stands out: The high ceilings and tall house plants are the most captivating parts of Young-joon's living room. His tall glass windows also give life to the house, allowing natural light to come through.

6. Legend of the Blue Sea

Whose living room is this? Heo Joon-jae

Traits: Heo Joon-jae is a witty con artist. He enjoys stepping in the shoes of different people. This is mirrored in his own living room where a wide variety of hues (orange, yellow, beige, white, and more) and shapes (diamond chandelier). 

What stands out: There are many things that stand out in Joon-jae's living room, but we can't help but notice the conch shell inspired speakers beside his television.

Traits: Hye-jin is a perfectionist dentist who is extremely frank follows her values. Despite her strong aura, she is extremely empathetic and soft on the inside. This is evident in her cosy, Muji-inspired home that features easy-on-the-eye decorations. 

What stands out: Hye-jin's sofa that was placed opposite her window stands out. This shows that it was carefully placed so she can watch television shows without the rays of the sun affecting her sight. This is truly a nod to the dentist's perfectionist nature.

Whose living room is this? Jang Jae-yeol

Traits: Jang Jae-yeol is a pretty straightforward man who lives with Schizophrenia, a mental disorder that includes delusions and hallucinations. Jae-yeol has been through a traumatic childhood which reflects his chaotic choices in life. This is manifested in his living quarters where an array of reds, purples, and pinks exist together.

What stands out: The variety of colours that can be seen in Jae-yeol's living space throughout the series.

9. World of the Married

Whose living room is this? Ji Sun-woo and Lee Tae-oh

Traits: Both Ji Sun-woo and Lee Tae-oh are serious and mature professionals who take their day jobs pretty seriously. The couple is also popular in the neighbourhood because of their charisma and social standing (until of course, conflict ensues in their home). Despite these, the couple's rather humble yet sleek nature is evident in their small living area filled with homey decor. 

What stands out: Their minimalist interiors combined with accent furniture is given life by the family portrait viewers can see from time to time.

10. It's Okay to Not be Okay

Whose living room is this? Go Moon-young

Traits: The cold and distant Go Moon-young is a bit old fashioned and this is mirrored by her mansion's living quarters.

What stands out: One look and you know that Moon-young's elegant yet old-looking carpet and sofa are the things that pull the mansion's eerie look.

11. I am Not a Robot

Whose living room is this? Kim Min-kyu

Traits: Kim Min-kyu lives a luxurious but isolated life due to a severe allergy he gets from physical contact with other human beings. This may explain why his living area has no dividers or anything that may stop him from running away from possible human intruders. 

What stands out: Min-kyu's living space has a lot of glass furniture that give audiences the illusion that the place is wide. The area is also filled with metallic decor that gives viewers a more relaxing feeling.
