The Philippines makes its historic debut at Révélations 2025 at the Grand Palais in Paris. Explore the sculptural works that masterfully blend craftsmanship and vision

The Philippines steps into the spotlight at Révélations 2025, as the majestic Grand Palais in Paris opens its doors to the world’s finest craftspeople this May. Among over 500 exceptional artisans from across the globe, Filipino designers will unveil their creative vision at this prestigious biennial celebration of contemporary craft.

Under the theme “In the spirit of the artisan-designer”, the Philippine exhibition tells a story of a profound connection between makers and materials. Curator Milo Naval has assembled six remarkable works that breathe the essence of the Philippine archipelago—each piece a conversation between tradition and innovation.

As one of three Southeast Asian nations specially featured at this year’s event, the Philippines joins the renowned Le Banquet exhibition. Here, visitors will discover how Filipino craftspeople transform natural elements into expressions of cultural identity and artistic excellence.

This debut marks more than just a display of beautiful objects. It represents a cultural milestone as the Philippines adds its unique voice to the global dialogue on contemporary craft, inviting the world to explore the rich artistic heritage and creative future of the Philippines’ most notable artisans.
