The annual event will take place physically in Paris, as a pop-up in London and virtually for the rest of the world, from September 30 to October 2

The Conscious Festival by Green Is The New Black returns for its fifth edition from September 30 to October 2.

The brainchild of Gen.T honourees Stephanie Dickson and Paula Miquelis, the educational festival focuses on creating awareness around sustainability issues impacting Asia and the world.

This year, the festival will be held physically at the same time in two locations—Paris and London—while virtual access will also be available and free of charge.

In Paris, the event will be held at Ground Control, a former postal sorting hall. A series of panels and workshops will revolve around four key themes: business, planet, fashion and wellbeing.

Speakers include actress and serial entrepreneur Fatou Ndiaye, Parfums Christian Dior's chief sustainability officer Isabelle Sultan and Eatic co-founder Benjamin Lanot. There will also be keynote speeches by Miquelis and Céline Dassonville, the CEO of Ethiwork.

The workshops range from wellness sessions to classes on crypto and creativity. There will also be a marketplace featuring eco-conscious brands, retailers and NGOs.

In London, a ticketed networking event will take place over breakfast at The Mills Fabrica in King Cross, where guests will meet sustainable fashion entrepreneurs and designers.

The festival will be screened virtually to the global audience with opportunities for networking.
