In the lead up to Singapore’s 54th birthday bash, head chef Miller Mai will cook alongside the MasterChef 2018 finalists for a not-to-be-missed eight-hands dinner on August 2 and 3.
Winner Zander Ng will prepare his reimagined version of otah-otah with seafood custard, kaffir lime gel and coconut slurry, while runner-up Genevieve Lee will follow it up with a sumptuous roasted duck adorned with kumquat compote, taro croquettes and spiced plum jus. Aaron Wong, who placed third, will make his Sanshui chicken, or chicken terrine beautified with ginger-garlic gelee and scallion oil.
Mai will complement these beautiful creations with local-inspired snacks like Singapore chilli crab and kueh pie tee, as well as rendang beef cheek and mini bao. Includes optional wine pairing.
