From 1-6 July, Mikuni will play host to the venerable three-Michelin starred chef, Esaki Shinaro of Tokyo’s Restaurant Esaki.
Mikuni, is dedicated to taking diners on a gastronomic adventure to discover the authentic tastes of Japan without leaving Singapore’s shores.
From 1-6 July, the fine dining establishment will host the venerable chef Esaki Shintaro, the three-Michelin starred chef of Tokyo’s Restaurant Esaki.
Part of the chef’s culinary philosophy lies in using only the freshest organic produce and meats that are supplied from ethical sources. To ensure that diners in Singapore experience his unadulterated culinary philosophy, ingredients will be flown into Singapore from the chef’s most trusted suppliers in the Yamanashi prefecture.
During the six days that Shintaro will be in town, he will prepare a five-course lunch and a seven-course dinner (both are available with or without sake pairing).
You’ll have a chance to taste the chef’s intensely flavoured signature dish - sweetfish potage. The Suzuki Sea Bass is another star dish that is delicately steamed in sake and served with a myriad of fresh seasonal greens.
The five-course lunch is offered at $110 per person and $208 per person with sake pairing while the seven-course dinner is offered at $250 per person and $388 per person with sake pairing.
