CC:Roasters is a cosy space in Block E located at the back of Paolo Paolo Gelato. Apart from a quick caffeine fix (we recommend filter coffee of the day or an oat milk latte), it also sells its own coffee beans, filters, and other essential equipment to make that perfect brew. You can also take a peek at its roastery right at the back. 

Another great place for coffee is Feeka Coffee Roasters in Block E, where you’ll also find a full food menu. Food-wise, we love its curry laksa, Swedish meatballs, and smoked duck aglio olio.

For your caffeine kick, go for the sticky bun latte or classic iced black. Non-coffee drinkers can opt for some gut-healthy kombucha or teas.

Located on the first floor of Block A behind the pharmacy, Feeling + is a brightly lit space dotted with doodles and life-affirming messages. Reiterating the positive vibe is a cheerful menu of toasties, pastas, and soups. Our favourites are the salted caramel latte, twice-fried chicken sando, and smoked duck aglio olio.

Here & Now is a modern Tiki cocktail bar that is home to some of the most creative and fun cocktails in the city. Its tiki-flavoured main cocktail menu is separated into three components: past nostalgia, present day, and future unexplored.

Each section showcases a quartet of cocktails: daiquiri, Junglebird, Piña Colada, and Mai Tai. These drinks are interpreted according to the different time periods. 

Jwala means flames in Sanskrit and true to its name, it specialises in the North Indian dish of tandoori but with a modern twist. Don’t miss its barramundi, tandoori croissant, biryani, chicken thigh, and paneer khurchan. 

Sushi Kazu, one of Tatler Dining’s Top 20 Restaurants 2022, has moved here and rebranded to Kazu KL. The restaurant has also expanded to include a kappo dining section as well as Bā Kazu by 61Monarchy. 

Indulge in Korean fried chicken in an elevated and modern rooftop setting at Kocco Rooster Bistro. The perfect place for your rooftop chimaek (a combination of chicken and beer, known as maekju in Korean) nights, Kocco Rooster Bistro serves six different flavours of Korean fried chicken to go with your favourite boozy beverage. 

Combining the rich flavours of Chinese cuisine with modern French techniques, Ling Long is led by head chef Lucas Lam. Try its signature ceviche prawns made with a tangy marinade and fu yu (fermented bean curd).

Brimming with Latin America-inspired flavours, Mano is a fun and feisty restaurant in Block E with Mexican chef Sergio Meza at the helm. The constantly rotating menu has about 20 dishes at one time.

An ideal dining journey at Mano should start with refreshing raw, citrusy ceviche and aguachile, followed by your choice of meat cooked on the large open fire grill.

For soulful brunches and lunches, head to Nourish by Kenny Hills Bakers. Popular items include the Mediterranean shakshuka, breakfast tacos, quiches and its version of chilli pan mee. There is also a selection of gluten-free and plant-based dishes.

It’s also known for its desserts with the Ultimate Chocolate Cake and peach strudel among the top selections.

Paolo Paolo Gelato serves freshly churned gelatos and sweet treats. You’ll find classic favours such as pistachio and Bacio, as well as more inventive flavours like the New York Cheesecake, peanut butter and jelly toast, and strawberry basil sorbet.

Pizza Mansion was already a household name before opening a new branch here. Our favourites pizzas are the Silence of the Lamb, Say Cheese and Magic Mushroom. The truffle mac & cheese is also highly recommended.

For a sleek modern French dining experience with an exquisite wine selection, head to Quin Restaurant. Part of the Tinkerman restaurant group, which is also responsible for Vintry and Proof, Quin is led by chefs Whye Whye and Kelly, who both have had stints at Macau's Michelin-starred Robuchon au Dôme and Nobu Kuala Lumpur.

For cocktail hour, venture to Rakh, Jwala’s sister cocktail bar. From a rassam-inspired cocktail to a smoked salmon-based tipple, its menu boasts a plethora of unconventional cocktails that promise to intrigue and satisfy. Our picks are the rasam spice and vodka, pineapple, galangal, and tequila, and unsalted popcorn with rum cocktails.

Seed by Whitegrass is an offshoot of the Michelin-starred Whitegrass from across the causeway in Singapore. The Kuala Lumpur outpost is helmed by chef de cuisine Joshua Ho. He concocts the two prix fixe menus that consist of Japanese-French dishes that play with precision and flavour like the sawara (Japanese mackerel) with fennel tapenade and wasabi dressing and Miyazaki Wagyu with fukinotou miso and sauce vin rouge (red wine sauce). 

Taan Korean Steak House is a modern Korean BBQ eatery that offers top quality beef for its barbecues that go perfectly alongside its other main dishes. Expect a wide range of cuts and marinated meats available to supplement the other classic Korean dishes on the menu.

One of the pioneers of the brunch movement in the city, Yellow Brick Road serves Asian-inspired dishes with a creative spin such as appam balik pancakes, tandoori chicken burger, and salmon mentaiko pasta.
