There’s no better view of Kuala Lumpur’s city skyline, punctuated by the iconic Twin Towers and KL Tower, than from the Horizon Grill. But it’s not all style and no substance.

Chef de cuisine Francesco Fedrighi makes sure that the view is not the only star of the show. His strength is ensuring decadence never tips into overindulgence, especially with the elaborate menu of caviar, foie gras, lobster, and dry-aged beef. Don’t miss the amazing chocolate tart, which is perfectly balanced with a light crust and thick hazelnut chocolate filling.

As a meat lover, there is an undeniable comfort in knowing that at Marble 8, every steak you order is of good quality and cooked skillfully to perfection. While signature items such as the bone marrow and risotto porcini are on the heavy side, they are seasoned well and prepared with just the right touch of acidity to ensure that they don’t end up being too cloying.

Although there are many offerings on its menu to excite various diets, meats from the Josper grill are the true star at Park Grill. They are tender, cooked to perfection, and made to customer’s specification. The mushroom side dish is extra salted, which plays out well when paired with the meat or mac and cheese.

Must-orders include the truffle fries which comes with an amazing sauce to dip in. To end the meal, try the pain perdu which could easily be one of the best desserts you’ll have in a while.
