You’re invited to an unparalleled dining experience that brings together the country’s biggest talents. The first ever Tatler Dining Festival will be taking over Chinatown from November 22-24, 2024, featuring IQOS, with a series of gastronomic experiences and immersive activations in a celebration of our homegrown stars.

We’re excited to be hosting the festival at Petaling Street, the perfect representation of traditional charm and modern innovation, home to both the city’s best street food and most renowned bars and restaurants. 

On November 22, 2024, the festival will kick off with a bang in the form of the IQOS Together X Opening Celebration at REXKL’s REXPERIENCE, featuring talented local DJs, including Ira Roslan and DJ CZA, as well as performer DJ ALYPH.

Within REXKL itself, the Street Sips and Bites Fiesta will be showcasing homegrown local vendors, from iconic street food favourites to creative and innovative restaurants, who will be cooking up a storm within the dining enclave.

Our line up this year, who will be taking over the space from November 23-24, from 6-10pm, is as follows: Chocha Foodstore, Ignis KL, Supernormal, Kayra, Terra Dining, Bartolo Bakehouse, Provisions, Triple Decker, Dao, Paolo Paolo Gelato, Aliyaa, and The Hungry Tapir.

Just outside, the Tatler Bar Crawl will feature some of the city’s most prestigious and award-winning bars, who will be crafting exclusive cocktails never seen before, available only from November 23-24, from 7pm onwards. The exciting line-up is as follows: Penrose, PS150, Concubine, Botak Liquor, XO, Baiju, UpperHouse, Chochou, Jann, and Crane.

Private dinners and brunches will be happening throughout the weekend, featuring Malaysia’s most acclaimed local talents. The electrifying Jalan Panggung will be abuzz with music and life, with the surrounding festivities.

The Northern Takeover will see three of Penang's most celebrated chefs—Johnson Wong of Gen, Su Kim Hock of Restaurant au Jardin, and Nurilkarim Razha of Jawi House, come together for only night only, to present Penang's beloved flavours and ingredients at Mona Lisa. The dinner will be at 8pm on November 22, 2024

 

Exclusive Lunch at UpperHouse

UpperHouse, Chinatown's new rooftop glasshouse hotspot, will be hosting a private lunch, featuring modern Asian sharing plates inspired by Chinatown's surroundings. The event will be on November 23, from 12-3pm, and will showcase a menu curated by Raymond Tham of Beta KL and Skillet.

Another exciting initiative is Malaysia’s Longest Brunch, a viking-style communal dining experience which will host over a hundred guests, who will indulge in a brunch spread prepared by some of KL’s most sought-after pop-up chefs. The brunch will take place at REXKL from 11am-2pm on November 24, 2024

The exciting lineup is as follows: Nic Wong (also known as AppleFishCakes), 2nd Breakfast, Joel Kirk, and Locus.
