On November 30, 2024, Tatler Ball 2024 was held in The St Regis Kuala Lumpur, donning the theme ‘Black Tie with Glimmers of Malaysian Pride.’ Keeping true to the evening’s driving force of championing Malaysian pride and culture, the spread of refreshments was truly unmatched.
Before heading inside the Grand Ballroom for a lavish, exclusively curated meal, our guests had the opportunity to make their way to a chocolate station by Godiva and a tea bar by TWG Tea to indulge in decadent swirls of pre-dinner soft serve and freshly brewed tea.

Godiva’s chocolate station featured its signature offering—soft serve. Made with only the finest Belgian chocolate and available in vanilla white chocolate, dark chocolate, and a combination of both, Godiva answered the question, “Should you have dessert before dinner?” with a resounding yes.

While watching soft serve coil onto cones garnished with chocolate shavings, guests also had the chance to peruse through a selection of Godiva’s handcrafted chocolate creations from its Gold Collection of filled milk, dark, and white chocolates and boxes of assorted chocolate truffles to its 85% Pure Cacao dark chocolate and its Connoisseur’s Collection of milk chocolate.

TWG Tea’s tea bar kept true to the evening’s theme with its glistening gold fixtures and signature shiny teacups. Guests were offered a selection of TWG Tea’s exquisite offerings to choose from including its Genmaicha tea, Eternal Summer tea, and more, served hot or topped with ice.

In addition to fine brews, the tea bar also presented guests with an assortment of TWG Tea’s delectable tea infused macarons from 1837 Black Tea & Blackcurrant and Lemon Bush Tea to Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate to Vanilla Bourbon Tea & Blackcurrant. Also on display were the adorable TWG Tea Teddies, tea infused fruit gums that can be eaten on their own or stirred into hot water.

The snacks and sips did not stop before dinner, though, as both Godiva and TWG Tea each bestowed guests with gift bags filled with chocolates and tea.
After a night spent on the dance floor and tucking into exquisite dishes, guests took home goodie bags filled with Godiva’s Prestige Biscuits Collection filled with pieces inspired by its most iconic chocolate delicacies.
Nothing pairs better with biscuits than tea, which TWG Tea gifted our guests as well in the form of its signature hand-sewn tea bags filled with Vanilla Bourbon and Eternal Summer teas.
