For the comfort of home-cooked meals, Manyaman is the perfect place. Solaire’s latest speciality restaurant delivers elevated flavours and unique spins on classic Filipino dishes. The only Filipino-themed restaurant in all of Solaire, Manyaman’s soft and elegant hues make for an inviting and nostalgic atmosphere. Guests are surrounded by the familiar rattan solihiya pattern, an example of traditional Filipino craftsmanship. Those with a sharp eye can see the distinctive pattern subtly placed all throughout the restaurant, from the ceiling lights to the chairs and walls.

Manyaman’s standout dish, courtesy of chef Jeffery Fong, is beef adobo sa gata, a tempting plate of braised short ribs and a healthy serving of cauliflower. The crispy lechon kawali menudo is made with highly-prized Kurobuta pork, which enhances the flavour and texture of this Filipino classic. And bestselling appetisers include the mouth-watering sisig and tokwa’t baboy. Manyaman will certainly be a favourite of those with a big soft spot for comfort food.

Yakumi

For Japanese food, Yakumi distinguishes itself with its offering of impeccably fresh sushi and a course set that puts the spotlight on its Omi Hime wagyu beef. Step into Yakumi and be transported to a traditional Japanese residence, which makes for a truly immersive experience. The dark floors contrast beautifully with the light shoji screen door designs, which also provides the tables with a sense of privacy. Those seeking a more intimate space can take advantage of the four separate room wings: Shinsen, Sora, Umi, and Sosoru. An image of Mount Fuji dominates the centre wall, cleverly lit and beautifully crafted wooden panels. Small lanterns and concealed bulbs gently illuminate the space, giving the restaurant an air of refinement.

One of Yakumi’s main attractions is the sushi bar manned by Chef Akira Takahashi. The signature assortment of premium sushi, which consists of seared toro, tuna, salmon, sea urchin, salmon roe, sushi rice, an omelette roll and the catch of the day, gives guests the opportunity to sample a trawler’s worth of variety. There is also the Omi Experience set menu, a curated selection of recipes that highlights the luxurious Omi Hime wagyu beef. Savour it as it is rolled into sushi, finely seared on a grill and arranged in a beef cutlet sandwich. Yakumi stands out by bringing to the table Japanese food that is on a whole other level while surrounding you in the serenity and quiet of a tranquil estate. Itadakimasu!

A melting pot of unique flavours and spices, Chinese cuisine stands apart for its virtually unmatched variety. Red Lantern gathers these myriad meals together for a pleasurable and experiential dining. True to its name, red lanterns are elegantly placed throughout the restaurant. Diners are treated to a front-row seat as chefs prepare their meals right before their eyes, while a stunning lotus sculpture by renowned designer Bea Valdes completes Red Lantern’s charming interiors.

A staple of Chinese food, their Peking duck is delicately sliced into succulent pieces, drawing guests in with its unparalleled flavour and aroma. The swan-shaped Swan puffs are filled with a wide range of ingredients from avocado to salted egg. Leveraging the availability of fresh fish and seafood in the restaurant’s water tanks, executive chef Richard Thong and chef de cuisine Jason Wong serve up their specialities which include braised sliced grouper, pan-fried prawns in truffle oil and luxurious steamed lobster. Diners may end their meals with a warm, soothing cup of tea artfully served by tea master Harry Gu. This pairs perfectly with their baked mooncakes, which is available in a variety of flavours. Dining at Red Lantern isn’t just a culinary experience—it’s a cultural one.

All roads lead to Rome. Finestra brings you the very best of Italian cuisine by delivering authentic dishes of the highest calibre with ingredients that taste as though they were harvested right from the back garden. Located on the 38th floor, Italian steakhouse Finestra is outfitted with posh, comfortable leather chairs and large glass windows that provide a sweeping view of the Quezon City area. On a clear day, the Sierra Madre, the longest mountain range in the Philippines, can be clearly seen in the horizon. Several tables with the view of the city provide the perfect atmosphere for an intimate romantic dinner with a loved one; larger tables, booths and private rooms are suitable for larger groups of friends and family. The luxurious interiors are brought together by tall ceilings and featuring a large glass cabinet holding an excellent selection of wine and a selection of paintings curated by Enzo Razon, co-founder of Tarzeer Pictures Inc.

Masterfully prepared by chef Joel Manchia, the carpaccio made with US prime beef tenderloin delectably melts in the mouth, while the exquisite linguine pasta with fresh clams is delicately light and refreshing. For dessert, guests may partake of Finestra’s famous tiramisu or their artisanal and homemade gelato of the day. At Finestra, each visit is different and memorable.

Solaire Resort North’s star-studded restaurants transform it into one of the foremost food destinations in the metro. The combination of lavish interiors and delicious dishes makes for an unforgettable experience.
