Here, she shares her Pocket List of favourite dining and drinking spots—places she keeps coming back to for exceptional food, warm hospitality, and unforgettable views
Visit Peach Blossoms for exquisite Chinese cuisine
Helmed by chef Edward Chong, Peach Blossoms is one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Singapore and was named among Tatler’s Best 20 Restaurants in Singapore 2026. The flavours, the presentation, and the subtle theatrics are all executed with remarkable precision. Don’t miss their signature dish: Braised Mung Bean Noodles with Crab Roe Collagen and Crab Claw stuffed with Prawn Mousse. It’s rich, comforting, and utterly luxurious.
Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay Singapore, Level 4, 6 Raffles Blvd.
Savour the flame-kissed dishes at Butcher's Block
Butcher's Block offers one of the city's most memorable dining experiences. Chef Jordan Keao's wood-fired cuisine celebrates seasonal ingredients with remarkable depth and restraint, allowing the quality of each ingredient to shine. Paired with its intimate setting and impeccable service, every meal feels like a special occasion. Don't miss the tasting menu, especially the fire-cooked dishes.

Stop by Vue for sunset drinks with a view
Vue brings together two of my favourite things: spectacular Marina Bay views and excellent food. Whether for lunch or sunset drinks, the rooftop setting never disappoints and is always my go-to spot when hosting visitors in Singapore. Don't miss the Wild Forest Mushroom Risotto, best enjoyed with a glass of wine and the city skyline as your backdrop.
Oue Bayfront, 50 Collyer Quay Rooftop Level 19
Enjoy a night out at Sushisamba
When I'm in the mood for an exciting night out, Sushisamba is always one of my top picks. Perched high above the city, it pairs breathtaking views with vibrant energy and a lively atmosphere, striking the perfect balance between sophisticated dining and nightlife. Don't miss the Crispy Yellowtail Taquitos, Japanese A5 Wagyu Gyoza, and the signature Tiger Maki Roll.
Capital Tower, Level 52, 168 Robinson Rd.
Slurp a bowl of Singapore's best Mee Pok
Nothing says comfort quite like a bowl of mee pok. It's my go-to meal whenever I'm in Singapore, and despite the city's countless fishball noodle stalls, 85 Redhill Teochew Fishball Noodle remains one of my favourites. Order the signature Mee Pok with handmade fishballs and minced pork. It's simple, satisfying, and consistently delicious.
Plaza Singapura, #B2-39, 68 Orchard Rd.
Those are Christina Tan's top dining and drinking picks in Singapore. Whether you're visiting for the first time or rediscovering the city, let this list be your guide to some of the Lion City's most memorable culinary experiences. Happy eating and cheers!
