As part of 1-Flowerhill, this romantic destination restaurant brings Claude Monet paintings to life in a century-old conservation house

Ever wondered what it is like to be part of a Claude Monet? At 1-Flowerhill, Sentosa’s latest botanical destination, one can get lost in Monet’s living painting. Step foot into the century-old conservation house, inspired by Monet’s Île aux Fleurs, where it captivates with native and exotic plants, ornate water features, and scenic views of the Sentosa Sensoryscape. Amidst this garden of tranquillity lies three distinct dining experiences under the 1-Group umbrella: Wildseed Café, Wildseed Bar & Grill, and Camille.

Above Camille is flanked by mesmerising sea views and exudes a rather amorous atmosphere

Like a shiny nickel, Camille is Sentosa’s first French-Japanese restaurant and possibly the most premium dining experience out of the trio. Perched on the second floor, the restaurant, flanked by mesmerising sea views, exudes a rather amorous atmosphere. After all, it’s named after Monet’s wife. The calming tones in the main dining room paired with floral motifs are exceedingly inviting, while the open kitchen sets the stage for executive chef Lamley Chua and head chef Loh Wai Lun. On the table, expect plates tinged with French elegance and Japanese simplicity—all while harnessing sustainably sourced ingredients.

Savour an opulent tartare of cold-smoked A5 Hokkaido beef and tuna akami brightened with freshly grated wasabi and crispy puffed rice; white miso glazed black cod and tender asparagus laced with shiso oil and Sakura ebi emulsion; or the well-marbled “Robbins Island” full blood Wagyu flat iron. Vegetarians are not discounted either as the Camille Garden gathers bounties of each season to bring forth a colourful expression of pan-fried carrots and velvety shiro miro beurre noisette.

Above Wildseed cafe is a pet-friendly casual spot that transforms into the Wildseed Bar & Grill in the evening

But if a romantic getaway includes your furry pals, then consider kicking back at Wildseed Cafe—first popularised by The Alkaff Mansion and The Summerhouse. The pet-friendly casual spot serves up hearty brunch plates fusing European and Singaporean flavours and afternoon tea. As the sun sets, it transforms into Wildseed Bar & Grill, where grilled meats and flame-kissed seafood take centre stage alongside refreshing tipples. And if you ever decide to put a ring on it, 1-Flowerhill’s idyllic setting certainly makes a fitting backdrop for that dream wedding.
