From HyperDrive to the highly anticipated Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, Sentosa is no stranger to introducing exciting attractions to its island. Enter Sentosa Sensoryscape, the island’s latest multi-sensory experience connecting us from Resorts World Sentosa to the island’s beautiful beaches.
Nestled in the heart of Sentosa, the permanent attraction features sensory gardens which combine nature, architecture and technology to awaken our six senses while inviting us to experience the island’s rich biodiversity.
The new experiential attraction also marks the first milestone of the Sentosa-Brani Master Plan, which aims to offer guests a unique and inspiring experience while exploring the island. Chief executive officer of Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) Thien Kwee Eng shares: “Sentosa Sensoryscape embodies SDC’s commitment to push boundaries and create extraordinary landmarks inspired by the beauty of nature.”

There’s plenty to explore along the impressive walkway. Visit when the sun sets and you’ll see the attraction come to life, thanks to the use of nature-inspired soundscapes, interactive digital light art and augmented reality. Below, we share some of the most exciting things to look out for.

This scenic walkway offers beautiful panoramic vistas of the island, spanning from the surrounding lush greenery to the sparkling southern beaches. In the day, the Lookout Loop is sprayed with cool mist, cooling us down while we explore. At dusk, the space is transformed with coloured digital light art.

As you walk along the connector, you’ll find three immersive vessels: Tactile Trellis, Scented Sphere and Symphony Streams. Intriguing your sense of touch, Tactile Trellis features various plants, inviting us to explore its various textures. Keep your eye out for the soft fern frond and the feathery asparagus. Next, check out Sentosa’s aromatic flora at the Scented Sphere. Step in and you’ll be surrounded by fragrant plants that can be found around the island. At the last vessel Symphony Streams, cascading water features create a calming soundscape, reconnecting us with the sounds of nature.

Take a detour from the main connector and find the Palate Playground, a garden home to various edible plants such as pandan and curry leaves. While we’re not allowed to pluck and taste them, we can still learn more about these plants and its flavours and scents as we explore the gardens. Like the rest of the attraction, the playground comes alive with colourful light art at dusk.

If you’re visiting at night, you’ll want to head to Glow Garden located at the southern end of the attraction. Here, find giant flower stalks that illuminate the pathway while glowing in various colours throughout the night. The captivating display is also a popular spot for photos.
