A Mano

Home to pasta, pizzas, and other handmade Italian favourites, A Mano is a name synonymous with comfort food. While anchored in respect for authentic Italian cuisine, the restaurant doesn’t shy away from its playful side and is known to create outlandish yet delicious dishes that you’ll crave time and again, from “Italian living in Japan” spaghetti with uni, ikura, and nori, and their famous burrata gelato soft serve.
Canton Road

A true benchmark for Chinese restaurants in the country, Canton Road’s Cantonese cuisine sets the bar high, pampering guests with exceptional dining experiences. Here, quintessential dishes are reinterpreted through artful contemporary presentations, creating a sophisticated and wholly satisfying dining experience.
Indus Modern Indian Kitchen

To dine at Indus is to deepen your love affair with Indian cuisine—the Modern Indian Kitchen brings regional Indian specialities to the fore, offering an indulgent dining experience that doesn’t hold back on flavour. While staples like rogan josh and butter chicken are infallible picks, the restaurant boasts a wealth of lesser-known dishes to discover.
Izakaya Geronimo

A night on the town wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Izakaya Geronimo, a contemporary Japanese restaurant known for its modern bites, cocktails, and spirited nightlife. Since opening in September 2023, the youthful destination has become one of BGC’s most popular haunts from lunch to dinner and the wee hours of the morning.
Lámpara

This Poblacion haunt is a favourite among foodies in the know. Loved for its modern Filipino cuisine and fun-loving spirit, regulars dream of its rice cups filled with longganisa, Dinuckdakan (duck dinakdakan), and other signatures— each a delicious testament to the chefs’ culinary deft and penchant for cheeky, creative twists that are distinctly Lámpara.
People’s Palace

Any discussion of Thai cuisine will inevitably circle back to People’s Palace: a tried and tested dining institution by chefs Colin Mackay and Kerwin Go, where dreams of pandan chicken, coconut pomelo salad, curries, and stir-fries come to life. 20-odd years in the business is no small feat, but this institution has yet to come out of fashion.
Roots

Roots is without a doubt, among the most exciting culinary destinations in Siargao—and how can it not be, when you’ve got Central alum (hailed the World’s Best Restaurants 2023) at the helm. Drawing from the team’s multicultural backgrounds in Spain, Mexico, Italy, Portugal, and Peru, chefs Ines Castañeda and Filippo Turrini apply their creative spin on local and seasonal ingredients, resulting in one-of-a-kind dishes like carabao ragu and ube gnocchi.
Taquería Franco

Funky and frisky, yet serious about delicious food, this Salcedo Village haunt answers the question, “What if chef Miko Calo made tacos?”. At Taquería Franco, this talented chef uses buckwheat tortillas (inspired by French galettes) to whip up French-Mexican creations like lamb bourguignon birria, egg salad and caviar tostadas, and duck confit tacos, each as brilliant as the last.
