Lawang, which is the term for the aromatic spice star anise in Malay, is essential for many Nyonya dishes. It forms the name of De Bungalow’s Nyonya restaurant, showcasing hearty Peranakan dishes with a fresh twist. Intimate but relaxed, dishes here are timeless, and LWG is a spot ideal for group dining among friends and family.

De Bungalow’s more casual concept, Satay Club, provides a true taste of Melaka with comforting Malaysian street fare. Of course, amongst other local favourites are expertly grilled satay skewers, staying true to the concept’s name. Ideal for a fast yet satisfying lunch or a more fulfilling meal, dishes here are always well executed.
