In a momentous move, Manam, the Moment Group's beloved comfort Filipino brand, is set to redefine casual dining by opening its flagship location at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati. The parkside location invites diners to savour blissful moments amidst greenery, providing an escape from the daily hustle. This prime location in the city centre is ideal for work-day lunches, or end-of-day gatherings with friends. Restaurateur, Abba Napa, founder and creative director of The Moment Group, speaks about the new dining room concept for Manam, "We built Manam at the Triangle because we wanted to create a Manam dining room where you would not feel rushed, no matter the time of day."
Stepping into the restaurant feels nostalgic yet enticing. The flagship's ambience is reminiscent of the classic Manam style but with an elevated spin. Sean Dix, renowned Hong Kong-based architect and interior designer who designed the space, seamlessly blends traditional Filipino elements with a contemporary twist. The decor celebrates the brand's history and culture through collages curated by The Moment Group’s creative team, showcasing images from the 19th century. The dining experience is also elevated with hand-sculpted stoneware by sought-after Zambales-based potter Mia Casal, adding an organic touch to each dish.
