Malaysia’s biggest celebration of Spanish gastronomy returns from September 18 to October 4, bringing over 40 exclusive dining events, wine dinners, and tapas showcases across eight major regions
Following the success of its inaugural edition, Eat Spain Drink Spain is returning to Malaysia from September 18 to October 4, 2026. Organised by Foods and Wines from Spain and ICEX through the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Kuala Lumpur under the global Spain Food Nation umbrella, the festival brings two full weeks dedicated to the flavours, wines, and culinary heritage of Spain.
This year’s campaign is stepping beyond its original footprint to reach food enthusiasts all over the country. In addition to Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Putrajaya, and Selangor, the festival is expanding to new dining hubs including Penang, Melaka, Johor, and Kuching. The goal is simple: to make authentic Spanish delicacies and gastronomy accessible to diners nationwide.
