Known for its cloud-soft ensaymadas and velvety cheese rolls, beloved Manila-born brand Mary Grace will launch its first international outpost here in 2026. But Singaporeans won’t have to wait that long—an online Christmas pop-up arrives this November

Mary Grace, the much-loved Filipino bakery café synonymous with its cloud-soft ensaymadas and velvety cheese rolls, is finally going international—and Singapore will be its first stop. The brand will open a full-service café here in the first half of 2026, bringing with it the familiar comfort and nostalgia that generations of Filipinos have grown up with. Ahead of the launch, an online-exclusive Christmas pop-up will offer Singapore diners a first taste from late November.

What began in 1994 at a kitchen table has since become one of the Philippines’ most recognisable café names. Mary Grace Dimacali started baking while raising five children, sharing her early creations with family, friends and eventually with her community through small bazaars. By 2002, demand had grown enough for her to open her first stall—a milestone that set the stage for a family-run brand grounded in warmth, sincerity and the simple pleasure of good food.

Three decades on, Mary Grace spans more than 140 cafés and kiosks across the Philippines. Yet the heart of the brand remains unchanged: a commitment to thoughtful baking, honest ingredients and the feeling of being welcomed home.

“Bringing Mary Grace to Singapore is something I never imagined when I first started baking in my kitchen,” says founder Mary Grace Dimacali. “It feels deeply personal—like sharing a part of my life’s work with old friends and new. We’ve always believed that ‘home’ is universal, and I hope our café here becomes a place where people feel that same warmth and connection.”

The café opening in 2026 will echo the inviting charm of Mary Grace’s Manila outposts—think cosy corners, the scent of fresh pastries drifting through the room, and the gentle hum of families and friends gathering over shared plates. Alongside the brand’s classics, the Singapore menu will include exclusive offerings created just for the local audience, as well as favourites brought over from Manila. Popular highlights include the ensaymadas, light buttery sweet buns topped with premium aged Edam cheese, as well as the cheese rolls, each concealing a silky cheese centre and lightly dusted with sugar for a delicate crunch when warmed.

Ahead of the café’s opening, Mary Grace is launching an online-only Christmas pop-up from November 25, with pre-orders starting on November 21. More details are available on marygracecafe.sg.
