Experience the best of fine food and beauty services at the Cyberjaya-based restaurant with an integrated spa
Taking the notion of self-care to a new level, Kaysha Dine & Beauty combines the best of luxury dining and relaxation. Separated by a short flight of stairs, the restaurant and spa are integrated under one roof, allowing patrons to enjoy a manicure after an exquisite meal downstairs. Located in Cyberjaya’s Tamarind Square, the concept was built around founder Zie Yusoff's passion for both fine food and beauty. The tastefully decorated dining room boasts floor-to-ceiling glass windows and offers all-day dining as well as a separate high-tea menu.

While dishes seem Western at first glance, Malaysian and Japanese touches are revealed through sauces and ingredients used, such as in the Salmon with Lemak Barley, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. Seared salmon sits on a bed of 'masak lemak' barley, crowned with pearls of ikura. Tasting a forkful of the barley reveals a burst of flavour reminiscent of curry laksa broth, derived from the use of coconut milk and local spices.

Boston Lobster, which is brought in live, is used in three dishes, the first being the Lobster Roll. Taking a bite through the crisp, golden bun reveals delightful chunks of lobster tossed in a luscious sauce. The Lobster Fra Diavolo Pasta features oven-roast lobster served alongside spaghetti tossed in a rich tomato-based sauce which coats each noodle, pairing well with the meaty, creamy lobster.
This writer’s favourite dish is the Smoked Duck Breast. A slice of the tender duck with the sweet fig compote and tart raspberry sauce served to the side reveals the perfect marriage of sweet and savoury. Pastel, two-toned ceramic plates frame each dish beautifully.

Other proteins are also cooked without fault, such as the Rack of Lamb served with beetroot gel and the Pan Seared Seabass served on a bed of spiced ratatouille. Tokushima Wagyu A5 beef makes an appearance in the Kaysha Wagyu Katsu Sando, a luxurious bite-sized starter. Biting into the fluffy bread reveals a crisp breading of the wagyu katsu, providing a welcoming crunch. The aforementioned beef is also served in the Wagyu A5 Tokushima Steak, alongside mashed potato speckled with truffle.
Our meal was served alongside a selection of Night Orient non-alcoholic wine, imported from France, which can be purchased by the glass or bottle. Also available are a large array of creative mocktails, most notably the Kaysha Shangria.
