Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan and Sous Chef Hasrul Hawari present a delicious menu that includes six savoury delicacies and five rose-tinted desserts, including Blinis with raspberry cream cheese and rose infused caviar, BBQ pulled beef short ribs tortilla wraps and pink-coated red velvet popsicles. Get ready for an afternoon of indulgence with purpose at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur this month. The luxury hotel's special Pretty-in-Pink October Afternoon Tea promises a delightful journey through a palette of rosy hues, all in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Yann Roumanille and Chef Putri Farisya Amirza, the menu features dainty delights such as the Pretty-in-Pink macaron of rich cherry compote and elderflower cream and melt-in-the-mouth scones served with clotted cream, rhubarb-strawberry jam, and fragrant rosewater-butter. The savouries are no less impressive, ranging from Pink Salmon Brioche to Beef De Cecina Leon—thin beef slices served with horseradish root and Manchego cheese.

Diners will also get to try pass-around treats such as cotton candy mocktails, madeleine strawberries and praline financier cakes. The Pretty-in-Pink October Afternoon Tea is available at The Lounge from October 2 – 31, 2023 from 3pm–5pm, priced at RM232 per person, including a choice of fine coffee or tea.

For the first time, Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel will host its pink-themed afternoon tea more than 30 floors up at the spacious upper deck of Sala Bar on Level 33. Dubbed the Afternoon Tea by Sala @ 33, this delectable high tea set expertly combines a tantalising combination of fruity and floral desserts with delicious savouries and even an a la carte menu with more pink-hued treats. Enjoying panoramic views of the Petaling Jaya skyline, guests can tuck into flavour-filled treats such as strawberry rhubarb petit gateau, roselle shooters, and rich red velvet tartlettes paired with smoked salmon rolls filled with cream cheese and chilli con carne tartelettes. Meanwhile, a la carte items like strawberry churros, possa sakura and rosey chicken sandwiches make an excellent add-on to the meal, topped off with a fragrant cup of rose tea or coffee.

Priced at RM128 nett for two on Monday through Friday and RM138nett for two on weekends, the Afternoon Tea by Sala @ 33 is available from 2pm–5pm. In collaboration with Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA), RM5 from each afternoon tea set sold will be contributed to support MAKNA’s efforts in the fight against breast cancer.

EQ Kuala Lumpur's Dolce Vita afternoon tea at Bottega Lounge gets a pink makeover this month, featuring an infusion of pink into its decadent bite-sized confectionery and savoury appetisers. In conjunction with this month's cancer awareness theme, EQ has joined hands with MAKNA (National Cancer Council) for the first time.
