In the first episode, Blake Abbie, Lynn Ban and Dorothy Wang visited Lady M patisserie and indulged in decadent handmade cakes including the signature mille crepe, pistachio mille crepe and checkers cake.

It’s no surprise they ordered the checkers cake, a signature on the menu that features a medley of fluffy vanilla and chocolate sponge cake, arranged to resemble a checkerboard. The cake is also layered with fresh whipped cream and dressed in a silky dark chocolate ganache.

The second episode saw Richard Chang, Vika Abbyaeva and Nam Laks enjoying a meal at Industry Kitchen, while enjoying unobstructed views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges. Here, they were seen savouring the restaurant’s classic margherita pizza while sipping on an orange espresso.

Dine like the trio and go for its classic margherita slice that comes topped with plum tomato, basil and mozzarella. Make the meal and even heartier affair with dishes like the lobster omelette paired with heirloom tomatoes, mascarpone and chives; and Maryland blue crab cakes topped with aioli and micro greens. Complement the meal with an orange espresso, like Laks; or a fruity cocktail such as the Spicyla, featuring a mix of DeLeon tequila, Midori, orange, pineapple, lemon and jalapeno.

The spinoff is filled with drama and feuds, with the spiciest being between Dorothy Wang and Deborah Hung. Throughout the series, we see the rivals constantly throw insults and clap back at each other—we can’t forget the iconic scene when Hung decided to meet Wang for a meal at Nello, but failed to show up. Following that, we see Hung send over several plates to her nemesis, including carbonara, Ahi tuna tartare and tomato salad, for her to savour alone.

Whether you dine alone, like Wang, or in a group, a trip to Nello is always worth it. Here, delight in flavours of Northern Italy from gorgeously grilled seafood to refreshing carpaccio. Its pastas are a must-try—go for the amatriciana, comprising handmade rigatoni mixed with succulent pancetta, onion and scarlet tomatoes.

Estiatorio Milos

The best way to catch up with friends is over a meal, and that’s exactly what the cast did in the series finale. In the episode, we see them dig into Greek fare at Estiatorio Milos. The Milos Special was a standout among the group, featuring paper thin zucchini and eggplant chips, and lightly fried Saganaki cheese. “I like these zucchini chips… can I take this whole thing?” Leung asks in the show.

Other highlights from the menu include the Mediterranean octopus, charcoal broiled until aromatic; juicy scallops lightly grilled with peppers and olive oil; and sweet Madagascar shrimp.
