1. Coach Café

Coach has teamed up with coffee retailer Brawn & Brains Coffee to deliver Coach Café, a one-of-a-kind fixture within a Keong Saik Road three-story shophouse. It is the American fashion house's first permanent blended dining and retail experience in the world, giving you an elevated version of a New York City diner. Within its sleek pastel pink walls you’ll find brunch favourites like classic pancakes and a juicy American cheeseburger to accompany speciality coffee classics.
There are also three levels of retail spaces for you to shop Coach merchandise, including a room dedicated to vintage restored and authenticated leather bags. If you’re looking for a good brunch spot and a unique retail experience afterwards, you can’t miss Coach Café on Keong Saik Road.

2. Ten+
With its grand opening only last month, Ten+ is a blazing newcomer at Sungei Tengah Road with its safari-themed interiors and open-air concept. Western classics like the cheeseburger with curly fries are on offer, but other offerings are interpreted with Asian twists. The baked snapper with sambal aioli is a highlight, sitting atop pumpkin mash, salsa, and sautéed kale.
The highlight is the Asian-style Big Breakfast, which sees a traditional British fry-up turned on its head with a generous serving of furikake rice, accompanied by chicken cutlets, scrambled eggs, pickled cucumbers, Asian slaw, sautéed mushrooms, ikan bilis, and sambal dip. It’s salty, acidic, and umami, making sure you won’t need the traditional British breakfast again.

3. Takagi Coffee
Japanese roastery Takagi Coffee made its highly anticipated international debut in Singapore late last month, and it is already making waves in the café scene. Here, coffee beans sourced from Indonesia, Nicaragua, Rwanda and more are roasted freshly in-house to make a blend that’s rich, dark and intense.
Here, you’ll be treated to an extensive menu that includes a katsu sando, which pairs fluffy white bread with a deep-fried chicken cutlet for a satisfying brunch. If you have a sweet tooth, you won’t be disappointed either with highlights like the French toast, a Japanese wheat flour brioche topped with chewy mochi skin and served with matcha ice cream and black honey. The soft and custard-like toast is decadent, and the slight bitter notes of the matcha is a welcome contrast to the deep sweetness of the honey.

4. Café Brera at Reunion
Café Brera at Reunion is Bakery Brera’s newest outlet at the National Museum of Singapore, bringing with it the expertise of Brera’s artisan breads and pâtisseries. You’ll find delicately flaky treats like the cruffin, the lovechild of a croissant and a muffin, with stuffed calamansi curd for a local spin on viennoiseries. The all-day dining menu is perfect for brunch, which includes sandwiches paired with otah otah or satay chicken as a nod to Singapore’s Malay heritage. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to choose your artisan bread of choice ranging from wholemeal, multigrain, baguettes and ciabattas.

5. Ceres Haus
Ceres is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but once you do, it will be worth it. A minimalist café by day and speakeasy by night, its dimly-lit interiors give off a moody and contemplative vibe that gives you a breath of peace and quiet in the midst of the Central Business District.
Here, you’ll be able to nibble on sliced cheese with sourdough and homemade jams that satisfies with its simplicity. Otherwise, for a more filling offering, go for a sourdough sandwich, which includes an iteration compiling potato salad with sriracha mayo, inari (pouches of deep-fried tofu), sliced onion, whipped butter and Havarti cheese. Wash it down with a coffee, or a wine from its all-day wine menu.
