With Singapore's dynamic bar scene, going out for drinks is always an exciting affair. It is even more so this week, thanks to the long-standing bars which continue to innovate their beverage menus, as well as new watering holes which always give us something to look forward to. From Lucali Bygb's all-you-can-drink brunch to Ju Hua Tai's Chinese-inspired libations, here are some places to get you started.

Drop by Lucali Bygb from Friday to Sunday and indulge in its boozy brunch, where you get to enjoy unlimited pours of rosés, cocktails, beers and wines for two golden hours. There is so much to savour—in particular, the reds and whites crafted exclusively for the restaurant by Australian winemaker Nic Peterkin of LAS Vino House Wines. Don't forget to pair them with delicious bites such as fried oysters, pasta primavera and brunch calzone.

2. Long Bar

As part of its Slingology series, a monthly showcase of Sling-inspired tipples curated by guest bartenders, Long Bar will be offering an array of delicious cocktails by 28 Hongkong Street (28HKS) from now until September 25. Order the Tokyo Giant, 28HKS' rendition of the iconic Singapore Sling featuring a blend of Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin and sakura vermouth.

3. Ju Hua Tai

Find modern Asian flavours at Ju Hua Tai, a Chinese-inspired cocktail bar along Duxton Hill. Aside from Asian-inspired brews such as white peach oolong and chamomile pilsner), must-tries include Chrysanthemum’s Secret and San Zha. The former is a popular option, thanks to its fruity medley of chrysanthemum-infused gin, lychee, raspberry and elderflower liqueur, while the latter is a potent mix of hawthorn-infused Mount Gay Rum, lemon juice and egg white. If you want to be surprised, opt for the omakase-style tipples and let the mixologists concoct something original based on your flavour profile.

4. Flow Bar

Flow Bar is the latest drinks destination by award-winning mixologist Ricky Paiva and the Restaurant Jag team. They offer a  cocktail menu that combines classics and new creations to please all palates. If you like your usual, order the Bloody Mary or Espresso Martini. But for something new and interesting, check out the nature-inspired concoctions made with seasonal botanicals such as citrus, thyme and strawberry. Pair these with an array of delectable bar bites, crafted by Restaurant Jag chef-owner Jeremy Gillon.
