Here’s what went down at the exciting two-day boozy extravaganza

Tatler Dining Malaysia’s very first Cocktail Festival was held over two evenings at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. The open-air courtyard was transformed for the evening in line with our theme, Neon Nights Nostalgia.

We brought together six of Malaysia and Singapore’s best bartenders for the one-of-a-kind weekend, who created custom cocktails for the event.

Jon Lee from Penrose KL, Angel Ng Ji from Triptyk, Affie Adut from Here & Now, Desiree Jane from Sago House, Isz Valentino from The Dragon Chamber, and He Xin from Mama Diam each had a booth where they expertly crafted the bespoke liberations.

On pour was Hi Piña from Affie Adut, Mr Wong’s Last Call from Angel Ng Ji, Poire Belle from Jon Lee, Emerald Fizz from He Xin, Banana Royale from Isz Valentino, and Ba Kwa Manhattan from Desiree Jane.

Other than the six signature cocktails, guests were able to purchase and savour drinks from our partners at Bombay Sapphire, Chivas Regal, Dewar’s, Hennessy, Johnnie Walker, Martell, Monkey 47, Roku Gin, Suntory Whisky, and Tanqueray. Still and sparkling water was also on pour from Spritzer, and cocktails from Vertigo were also popular amongst guests.
