The annual celebration of Negroni returns this September, bringing bartenders from Asia, London and Edinburgh to bars across Singapore and the wider region
Negroni Week returns from September 21 to 27 , bringing bars and restaurants around the world together for a week of Negroni serves, guest shifts and charitable fundraising. The annual initiative, founded by Campari and Imbibe Magazine, supports Slow Food and its work across food and beverage education, cultural and biological diversity, equity and wellness.
Now in its 14th edition, Negroni Week is taking place across more than 90 countries, with Asia Pacific hosting one of its most extensive programmes of international guest shifts to date. Bartenders from London, Edinburgh and across Asia will take over bars in Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines throughout the week.
In Singapore, the celebrations open on September 21 at Milli’s, with Demitria Dana Paramita, co-founder of Jakarta bar Hat’s Bar, behind the bar. Hat’s Bar is a new entry at No. 77 on The 50 Best Bars Asia 2026 and was also named Campari’s One To Watch. Paramita, who previously worked across Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Semarang, is known for incorporating pastry and baking techniques into her cocktails while highlighting Indonesian ingredients.

Singapore’s own bar scene also features prominently in the regional programme. On September 22, Joash Conceicao, bar manager of Offtrack, will take over Mishang Prada Rongzhai in Shanghai. Offtrack is ranked No. 16 on The 50 Best Bars Asia 2026 and has developed a following for its connection between cocktails, music and culture.
Conceicao will then head to Macau on September 24 for a guest shift at Pony & Plume at Capella at Galaxy, bringing Singapore’s contemporary cocktail scene to another stop on the regional Negroni Week circuit.
The Singapore programme is part of a wider series of exchanges between some of Asia’s leading bars and bartenders. In Jakarta, Melvin Lim of Kuala Lumpur’s Bar Trigona will appear at Osteria Gia, while Sam Yap Chun Fai of Kuala Lumpur’s Cabinet 8 will take over Hat’s Bar. Meanwhile, bartenders from some of the region’s most recognised venues will travel further afield, including Monica Berg of London’s Tayēr + Elementary, Iain McPherson of Edinburgh’s Panda & Sons and Giorgio Bargiani of London’s Connaught Bar.

Across the region, the programme spans guest shifts and collaborations with bartenders from cities including London, Edinburgh, Bangkok, Jakarta, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Kyoto. In Bangkok, Tayēr + Elementary co-founders Alex Kratena and Monica Berg will begin the city's programme with a two-night residency at Capella Bangkok, followed by appearances from McPherson, Bargiani and Erik Lorincz of Kwānt London.
The charitable element remains central to Negroni Week. In 2025, almost 15,000 bars and restaurants across more than 90 countries participated, collectively raising US$700,000 for causes supported through the initiative. For 2026, funds will continue to be distributed by Slow Food through the Negroni Week Fund, supporting projects focused on hospitality education, knowledge exchange, cultural and biological diversity, equity and wellness.
For Singapore’s cocktail community, the week offers an opportunity to see local bartenders take their work overseas while bringing new perspectives from across Asia and beyond into the city’s bars. At its heart, Negroni Week remains a celebration of the cocktail itself, but increasingly it has become a platform for the people, ideas and hospitality culture behind it.
