There’s no better way to celebrate this iconic Italian cocktail than with this charity initiative, taking place from September 12 to 18
Negroni fans, get excited as Negroni Week is back in Singapore for its 10th edition. Spearheaded by Italy’s iconic red Aperitivo, Campari and Imbibe Magazine, this year’s charity initiative will take place across multiple restaurants and bars from September 12 to 18.
First launched internationally in 2013, this initiative was created to honour over 100 years of the Negroni cocktail, a classic mix of gin and sweet red vermouth. What’s more, the initiative doubles as a charitable cause, with participating bars donating a portion of their proceeds to various charities across the globe.

For its 10th edition, Campari has recruited 10 local bars to serve up its own interpretation of the Negroni Handshake, inspired by the Bartender’s Handshake. An unspoken ritual within the bartending industry, the Bartender’s Handshake is a way of greeting people with a shot or small serve cocktail on the house. The Negroni Handshake will serve as a representation of hospitality and the return to post-pandemic normalcy.
On top of these 10 bars, over 60 local bars and restaurants in Singapore have created their own interpretation of the classic gin concoction. A portion of these Negroni cocktail sales will be donated to the bars’ preferred local charities.
So, raise a toast to this century-old cocktail at these bars during Negroni Week. After all, drinks taste better when they’re for a good cause.
