Paving the way in premium coffee

Nespresso Professional’s two exclusive coffees—Galapagos and Nepal Lamjung—epitomise the pinnacle of coffee craftsmanship. These exceptional blends, created from beans sourced from these unique regions, offer a sensory journey that is earmarked for true coffee aficionados.

Exciting collaborations with culinary visionaries

Nespresso's pursuit of the perfect coffee experience starts from the care that goes into their coffee, from bean to cup. We speak to culinary visionaries who share their zeal for coffee and exceptional craft.

At this year’s Michelin Guide Ceremony 2023, Louis Han of Naeum, known for his innovative brand of contemporary Korean cuisine treated guests to his unique coffee infused creation. “I made a special crepe with beef bulgogi and bell peppers.” And instead of serving this dish the traditional way with soy sauce, he deviated. “I prepared the sauce with Nespresso coffee and pine nuts.” According to Han, coffee compliments his dish perfectly. “Beef has its own savoury flavour. The coffee adds on more aroma with its slight bitterness. These tastes complement each other.”

This year, another exceptional standout is Jaan by Kirk Westaway. The restaurant has admirably maintained its two Michelin stars by consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences that blend innovative flavors and impeccable presentation. The real genius behind it all is executive chef Kirk Westaway, whose superior technical virtuosity and creativity has helped the restaurant to maintain their well-deserved reputation as a top-tier dining destination. As an avid lover of coffee, chef enjoys Nespresso for its delightful balance of depth and complexity. “For me, what I love about Nespresso Professional coffee is the consistency. Each and every day, it is the same quality. Very high level; rich, creamy and smooth. It is just consistent. Whenever I make it, whenever someone in my team makes it, it's the same each and every day, which is what a chef looks for. Chefs all strive for consistency and it's something Nespresso can do over and over again,” he declares. “You can really detect the care and attention that has gone into Nespresso. It is warming, it is pleasing and it is a delicious thing to drink,” he adds.

This year’s winner of the Young Chef award chef-owner Kevin Wong of Seroja is a huge devotee of coffee too. “It awakens your senses. I am a firm believer in good coffee. We use great coffee blends from Nespresso at Seroja. It is something we have always been using since day one. We have a very good partnership with them,” he affirms.
