Here’s a brief look at what went down at the event:
Glenfiddich 50 Year Old Simultaneous Time
The 50 Year Old is the crown jewel of the collection, a whisky that captures both a single moment and a long, storied history. This expression is a rich tapestry of influences, from the subtle whispers of the oak cask to the gentle touch of Speyside air. Its antique gold colour hints at the richness within, where notes of rich orange peel and clementine meet the complexity of Madeira cake and muscovado sugar. The nose further reveals the dewy petrichor of a Dufftown morning mingled with flowering geranium.
On the palate, this whisky offers a lingering sweetness that softens into deep, silky smooth oak tannin and sun-dried vanilla. The finish is oaky, sweet, and incredibly long-lasting. The tri-corner bottle is housed in a unique 3D cylindrical sculpture created by computational architect Manuel Jimenez Garcia, using 50 years of climatic data from Dufftown. This design mirrors the depth and originality of the whisky itself.

Glenfiddich 40 Year Old Cumulative Time
The 40 Year Old embodies the concept of Cumulative Time, where the “remnant vatting” process brings together layers of aged whiskies. This expression showcases a dark mahogany hue, indicative of its complex character. The nose is deeply layered with dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and ripe black cherries, complemented by subtle waves of gentle wood smoke, polished leather, and cloves.
The taste is luxuriously full and silky smooth, evolving from deep dried fruit notes to rich fruitcake, dates, raisins, and stewed apples before giving way to dry, oaky notes with subtle hints of bitter chocolate and peat. The finish is complex, memorable, and exquisitely long-lasting. Each bottle is encased in a magnificent vessel crafted from jesmonite, with dramatic furrows revealing the tri-cornered bottle within, making it a striking centrepiece.

Glenfiddich 30 Year Old Suspended Time
The 30 Year Old captures the purest expression of Glenfiddich’s character, frozen at the perfect moment by the Malt Master. Presented in a sleek decanter, this whisky appears to float within its case, symbolising its timeless quality. Its rich bronze colour sets the stage for an exquisitely structured balance of hearty oak married with sweet, subtle sherry notes on the nose.
The palate reveals deep, woody flavours interlaced with delicate floral accents, resulting in a complex combination. The finish is warm, honeyed, and exceptionally long-lasting, embodying the essence of suspended time. This expression is a testament to the delicate balance and artistry that lies at the heart of Glenfiddich’s single malt tradition.

The Time Re:Imagined series transcends mere whisky; it is a celebration of time’s transformative power and the generations of craftsmanship that have helped shaped Glenfiddich’s legacy. As Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's malt master, eloquently states, “These aged whiskies, reaching 30, 40, and even 50 years, possess a unique flavour profile that can never be recreated. Time transforms them into something extraordinary.”
