An impressive menu of delightful Japanese eats await diners at the prestigious Nobu Manila
Arguably one of the most recognisable Japanese brands in the world, Nobu Restaurant is a local favourite even in the Philippines. For a population constantly craving for freshness and fineness, Filipinos have taken to Nobu very strongly. Located within its first hotel in Asia, Nobu Manila features five floating cabanas, two private dining rooms and seating, providing an idyllic view of lush outdoor greenery. To accompany this Zen Japanese aesthetic are new and contemporary recipes that are sure to be enjoyed. These are just some of our favourites:

First, the black cod miso, followed by new style sashimi, rock shrimp tempura, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and beef tobanyaki. These classics are the traditional Japanese favourites that have Filipino clientele lining up out their doors. Everything from hot dishes, cold dishes, yakimono, kushiyaki, sushi, sashimi, and even vegetarian food are on the menu at Nobu and those searching for more familiar flavours can indulge in innovative items such as the kurobota pork sisig and the special Nobu halo-halo. Follow this up with bar favourites including a refreshing Matsuhisa martini, the aromatic Papa Shichimi, and the bold whisky shiso sour.

A tasting menu is also available for those looking for a bit of everything. Their signature and seasonal tasting menus are expertly curated multi-course meals that allow each diner to delve deeper into the Nobu experience. Available until September, Nobu's eight-course menu will consist of zensai (chef's choice of appetiser), crispy salmon with teriyaki aioli, an assortment of sushi, ama abi (sweet shrimp) and engawa (fluke fin), hokkigai (surf clam) salad roll, pan-seared seabass, Australian lamb chomp, asari clam soup, and sesame panna cotta with mango passion fruit sorbet and green tea crumble. To pair with this, diners can choose between premium Hokusetsu sake, champagne, red and white wines, beers, and spirits.

For Sundays, families can find themselves at Nobu to indulge in their weekly brunch. Seasonal oysters, custom sashimi, maki roll, a sushi bar, and even a spread of kushiyaki and a la carte items are at the beck and call of every diner. Unique and special, Nobu is the perfect way to celebrate a special Sunday—or simply satiate cravings any day of the week.
Located at Level 1, Nobu Hotel, Nobu Manila restaurant also provides leisurely al fresco dining experience at the open-air floating cabanas. The restaurant is open Sunday to Thursday from 5 pm to 10 pm, and until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday.
