On top of its signatures, the famous Japanese patisserie Okashi Gaku will bring Singapore-exclusive flavours to the island

From fluffy pancakes to animal-shaped bread, we can agree that no one does stunning desserts better than the Japanese. Their latest innovative offering is the chiffon cake in a can, which was created by popular Japanese patisserie Okashi Gaku last year and has since become a viral hit in Japan.

Now, Singaporeans will get a taste of these cakes in cans when they launch on the island next month. To be sold in vending machines at Suntec City from September 16, these cakes will be packaged in clear soda cans and will come in signature flavours such as the OG strawberry shortcake, comprising layers of light whipped cream slathered between chiffon cakes and jazzed up with Hokkaido strawberries.

On top of classic flavours, anticipate Singapore-exclusive flavours like matcha, mango, chocolate and tiramisu. The tiramisu is widely anticipated, especially for those who can’t get enough of the Italian dessert’s light and airy mascarpone cream, coffee-infused sponge and cocoa powder.
