Three visiting Thai chefs have prepared a sumptuous evening feast at InterContinental Hotel Singapore’s Italian restaurant, Olive Tree.

From now till 13 October, three visiting Thai chefs will prepare a sumptuous Thai evening feast at InterContinental Hotel Singapore’s Italian restaurant, Olive Tree.

 

During the promotion, Olive Tree’s international buffet spread will be dominated by traditional Thai eats. While the chilled seafood, sushi and sashimi will remain, relish in special appetisers such as Yam Pla Duk Fu (fluffy catfish and green mango salad), Yum Nua Yang (spicy beef salad) and Som Tum (spicy green papaya salad).

 

A few main dishes such as Phad Thai and Thai Chicken Noodle Soup will be prepared a la minute and three Thai-spice laden meat carvings of Kor Mu Yang (char-grilled pork shoulder), Kai Yang (grilled chicken) and Kae Yang (roasted lamb rack) will be sliced right off the bone as you order.

 

There’s a large variety of Thai sweets for dessert, like the gleaming handmade Luk Chup, Kha Nom Fug Tom (steamed pumpkin cake), mango sticky rice, red ruby and Wun Maplao Oon (young coconut and fresh milk jelly).

 

‘Journey into Thailand’ at Olive Tree is priced at S$55 for one diner, S$88 for two diners and S$128 for a family of four. Add S$15 to enjoy unlimited Chang Beer.
