You’ve had truffles, but have you used them as part of your skincare routine? This September, Fresh will be collaborating with Date By Tate, the cake shop of two-Michelin starred fine-dining restaurant, Tate Dining Room to launch Fresh x Date By Tate White Truffle Pastry Set to celebrate the beauty brand’s new overnight mask.
The mask, Crème Ancienne White Truffle Overnight Mask, is as luxurious as the name would suggest. Made with precious white truffles from Alba, Italy, it’s designed to strengthen delicate skin as you sleep to reveal smoother, firmer skin when you wake up in the morning.
Tate’s collaboration with Fresh brings a white truffle pastry set that’s every bit as indulgent as the luxury mask. The set, which comes with two layers of pastries, includes a jar of white truffle-infused wildflower honey; a jar of forest broom tea; a hojicha financier cake; and a white truffle, Williams pear and vanilla layered gateau.
While most of us see truffle as an ingredient that's reserved for upscale dining, truffles actually boast numerous skincare benefits due to their high antioxidant, vitamin and minerals content. In the K-beauty world, white truffle has also been gaining popularity for its anti-ageing, hydrating and soothing benefits. This collaboration between Tate and Fresh may have taken us by surprise, but we're fully on board to dose ourselves in truffle from night till dawn.
