This bar is ringing in the festivities with its Christmas eve and day afternoon tea experience, featuring a lavish spread of sweet and savouries. Start at the savouries and dig into festive-inspired bites like the turkey breast sandwich layered with torched brie and cranberry compote. Seafood fans can go for the poached lobster coupled with avruga caviar, cucumber, shallots and yuzu mayo. Moving onto sweets, dig into creations like the yule log with an earl grey-infused orange marmalade encased in a fluffy earl grey souffle sponge.

2. Anti:Dote

Celebrate the season of indulgence with Anti:Dote’s Festive Tea Indulgence afternoon tea set. Curated by executive pastry chef Yong Ming Choong and senior sous chef Jacky Lai, the spread features bite-sized gems served in its iconic white chest drawer. Bring an appetite and savour creations like the duck confit seasoned with aromatic Asian spice; crunchy tiger prawn sandwich garnished with olive oil spheres; and wild mushroom mille-feuille comprising thin layers of mushroom and black truffle. Balance rich savoury flavours with sweet treats like the morello cherry coulis, coffee bonbons and nutty hazelnut praline tarts. 4. The Rose Veranda

The Rose Veranda is marking the joyous occasion with its latest three-course afternoon tea menu. Look forward to an assortment of enthralling treats, starting with a selection of finger sandwiches: bourbon-smoked chicken embedded between a savoury sundried tomato loaf; and light truffle potato choux pastry crowned with glazed turkey ham. For mains, choose from a selection of hearty dishes like the classic maple turkey roulade. It’s accompanied by yuzu-pumpkin puree, glazed Brussel sprouts, cranberries sauce, giblet gravy and chestnut stuffing. You can’t miss out on desserts—take your pick amongst the Christmas tree-shaped macarons, chestnut mont blanc tart, and gingerbread maple pecan pie.
