Chicken rice, affectionately regarded as Singapore’s national dish, will clinch the limelight at the Chicken Rice Festival Buffet at Town Restaurant.
Chicken rice lovers can savour Town Restaurant’s signature Hainanese chicken rice to their hearts content during the Chicken Rice Festival Buffet. Prided by the Fullerton’s culinary team as the “Best Chicken Rice in ‘Town’”, this dish is painstakingly prepared using only the freshest chicken. It’s served alongside steaming fragrant rice cooked with pandan and lemongrass; a tasty broth with fresh cabbage, bean curd and wolfberries; as well as a piquant chili and ginger sauce.
In addition, look forward to four equally appetizing local variations of “chicken rice”: ayam penyet, Chicken Devil’s Curry, chicken nasi briyani and ayam cincalok in Peranakan Style. The buffet also includes other local favorites like laksa, Singapore satay, and bak kut teh. Moreover, delight in delicious fresh seafood every Thursday to Saturday at S$69 per person, and an array of barbecued items including grilled lobsters at S$89 per person.
Town Restaurant’s Chicken Rice Festival buffet takes place from now till 24 November and is priced at S$53 per person. Weekday lunch is offered from 11.30am-2.30pm and dinner is offered from 6.30-10.30pm on Sundays to Wednesdays.
