The award-winning restaurant will call Sunway Resort at Sunway City Kuala Lumpur home at the end of 2022

Black Tap is bringing its amazing burgers and Instagram-worthy milkshakes to Malaysia, specifically at Sunway Resort at Sunway City Kuala Lumpur. This will be its first outlet in Malaysia and expected to open at the end of 2022. Although known as Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers in the US, its full name has been tweaked to the more family-friendly Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes in Malaysia.

"We're thrilled with this partnership," enthuses Chris Barish who owns Black Tap with his wife. "Malaysia’s dining scene is thriving, and we want to be right there in its epicentre. Black Tap is all about bringing a New York-inspired energy, whether it is through the food, the street art murals or the music that we play in the restaurant."

You can expect many of its beloved staples on the menu here, including its world-famous CrazyShake milkshakes loaded and stacked with treats, perfect for those with a serious sweet tooth

Black Tap, which was crowned Pat LaFrieda’s 2021 NYCWFF Burger Bash Champion in 2021, has already opened in a couple of locations outside the US including Singapore and the UAE. Its opening at Sunway Resort is part of the hotel's 'once-in-a-generation' transformation and the outlet will join an impressive line-up of gourmet culinary brands including the highly anticipated Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill.
