Cheese selection in Singapore is vast and one that goes beyond the classic cheddar and mozzarella options at supermarkets. La Fromagerie offers a wide selection of French and European cheese and is the brainchild of chef Julien Bompard from now-shuttered Le Saint Julien restaurant. Classic and vintage cheeses are available in stores and online, including the premium Mimolette, aged 36 months. This hard cheese originates from Northern France and is coloured with annatto (natural food colouring) giving off a beautiful orange hue. It’s yolky and fruity, pairing perfectly with aged whisky.
