Lunar New Year

Make the most of the 2022 Lunar New Year break, with nine days off for the price of just two annual leave days thanks to the public holidays falling in the middle of the week.

Monday, January 31
Friday, February 4

Total time off:
9 days

Spring (mini)-break

Book the Monday before the Ching Ming festival as annual leave to bag an extra-long weekend, perfect for an extended staycation or Hong Kong glamping trip

May the fourth be with you

Being strategic with when you book your annual leave days can pay dividends in Hong Kong. Booking four days of leave in early May––making the most of the two public holidays––will give you a ten-day-long break. All you need to do now is decide where to (hopefully) jet off to!

Tuesday, May 3 - Friday, May 6

Total time off:
10 days

Go on a summer holiday

Booking time off before most Hong Kong schools break up will not only give you a quieter break, it’ll also potentially give you access to off-peak holiday rates. Book four days of leave during the week of the July 1 public holiday to score nine days off.

Total time off:

Maximise Mid-Autumn

Squeeze in a final holiday as the seasons change by booking a few days of annual leave around the Mid-Autumn Festival public holiday.

Holidays are coming

With Christmas Day falling on a Sunday in 2022, you can take just three annual leave days and get nine full days of festive holiday fun. Your first day back in the office will be January 2, 2022, so just be careful not to party too hard when the ball drops at midnight!
