From Singtel to Starhub, here’s the best way to gain access to Wimbledon’s most nail-biting tennis matches
Wimbledon is finally back and almost two weeks of exciting matches begin today (June 27). With sensational comebacks, notable absences and a host of up-and-coming stars, Wimbledon 2022 is set to be an exciting one.
The games will run till July 10 and will be held at The All England Lawn Tennis Club in London.

This year, the matches will be slightly different because we will not be seeing some of the most notable tennis players in attendance. For the first time since 1998, Roger Federer will not be playing as a result of a knee surgery that he is still recovering from.
We will also not be seeing key players in the sport such as Naomi Osaka, Alexander Zverev, Venus Williams, Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov.
However, we are still set for an exciting season with Novak Djokovic as the top seed in the men’s singles department and Iga Swiatek as the top women’s seed. They will be defending their leading titles at the games for a record prize money of US$50.5 million. The winners in the men’s and women’s singles are each expected to receive US$2.5 million.
If you are in Singapore and are not sure how to watch the matches live, read on for everything you need to know about catching the season’s most riveting sports competition live.
If you are a Starhub subscriber in Singapore, you simply need to sign up for Starhub’s Sports+ subscription to gain access to a buffet of live sporting action.
If you have been a Sports+ subscriber for a while, you would know that the service allows you to be able to watch all four Grand Slam tournaments this year including the Australian Open from January 17 to 30, and the French Open from May 16 to June 5. The subscription also allows you to watch Wimbledon throughout the season through its Spotv channel (which is channel 205).
The best part is that you can either watch the matches live with on-demand streaming or catch the playbacks at a later time if you missed it with the StarHub TV+ app. This is available for free to all Sports+ customers.
If you are a Singtel subscriber, you will also be able to catch all the action from Wimbledon. You simply need to add Sports Plus to your existing Singtel subscription plan.
You will then get access to nine dedicated sports channels which will allow you access to not just live Wimbledon coverage but also coverage of other sports such as Formula 1, Champions League, La Liga, Tennis Grand Slams, MotoGP and more.
If you are only interested in Wimbledon (or any other specific sporting event), you can also opt to pay for just a seven-day Sports Plus pass. Wimbledon coverage will be happening on Spotv 2.
Besides Singtel and Starhub, you can also check out key moments, behind-the-scenes footage, press conferences and more on Wimbledon’s official YouTube channel.
