Our astrologer, De Rui, tells us all about November
With Mars recently moving into its retrograde and planets moving through Scorpio, emotional undercurrents are running high. Even in the absence of concrete, real-world events, the subconscious is exerting an outsized force with the potential to manifest in the form of plot twists and unpredictable situations. Be gentle with yourself, and take some time to process the feelings coming to the surface. Deep transformation is on the table.
The feeling of having to re-live the past can come up in the first week of November, as the Sun, Mercury, and Venus take turns merging their energies with the South Node of the Moon. Successes and wins may evoke feelings of déjà vu. Struggles we thought were long behind us can also rear their ugly heads. These types of experiences exist to help us take stock of where we have been, how far (or not) we have come, and where we want to go.
Under the influence of the Scorpio New Moon at the end of October, we may on some level be testing how deeply we can converge, influence, and exchange with others. Some may experiment with the limits of how much pain is tolerable in the name of relationship. Others may be grappling with issues around trust and fear. On the November 8 Full Moon lunar eclipse, much of this trial-and-error entangling reaches a climax. The portal of darkness granted by the eclipse facilitates otherworldly downloads and insights. Performing a ritual with incense, candles, and other sensual aids can bring out the best of the Taurus moon.
The middle two weeks of November are a time for self-care and healing. New ideas about what defines security and stability may take hold. The stronger emotional charge from the first part of the month may take a heavy psychic toll and we will need to shore up our defences before worrying about anyone else. By the time the New Moon in Sagittarius rolls around on November 23, we can then be ready for a new cycle of optimism and adventure. The ruler of Sagittarius, Jupiter, emerges out of retrograde just one day later, adding to the boost in faith and abundance we are likely to experience at the end of the month.
The Month by Sun Sign
Aries
The deeper, sometimes messy, negotiations between people may not normally interest you, but any effort you put into getting beneath the surface with others are bound to yield big insights this month. If you choose to ignore these explorations, the first half of the month may feel a bit heavy. After the lunar eclipse on November 8, there may be some fun around shopping trips and acquiring fine things that bring joy. But the vibes truly lift off in the second half of November, when your ideas and preferences will find more resonance. The Sagittarius New Moon on November 23 will be a time to set new goals and intentions when it comes to expanding your horizons.
