Celebrate your accomplishments and those of the women around you this IWD by participating in these meaningful activities

The theme for International Women's Day (IWD) this year, Break The Bias, encourages women to go against social conventions while celebrating their accomplishments. Under this hashtag, we have seen a multitude of women share their experiences of breaking boundaries as well as speak up against gender inequality in various aspects of life.

If you're looking to make a difference this IWD, consider donating to a female-focused charity of your choice. Some of the organisations you can donate to include Aidha, a charity organisation that helps domestic workers by teaching them important life skills and Women for Women International, which helps women survivors of war by providing them with essential resources. These charities advocate for women's rights, empowering disadvantaged women through their campaigns. They are always looking for volunteers to help out so volunteering your time is another meaningful way to spend IWD this year.
