China's second largest cinema chain brings its immersive movie-watching experience to Malaysia with its opening in Pavilion KL and Da Men USJ Mall
On November 1, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur welcomed the opening of Dadi Cinema, home to the first Star Max, Star+, and Lil Star specialty cinema halls in the country. While the Star Max hall boasts a star-studded galaxy theme, the Star+ hall promises a more luxurious, VIP experience, with plush premium twin leatherette recliner cabin seats, wireless charging pads and a service call button. Star+ ticket holders also get exclusive access to the Star+ private lounge.

There's also what is arguably the most kid-friendly cinema hall in the country, the Lil Star that boasts quirky, customised seats (for both kids and adults) and a mini playground. There's also the Lil Star Playland lounge for the little ones to enjoy themselves before the show.

Dadi Cinema's second outlet in Malaysia is at the community-friendly Da Men USJ mall in Subang Jaya. This branch bears a bustling street-inspired aesthetic, rife with street signs, colourful graffiti and even life-sized vehicle replicas of a vintage pick-up truck, a race car and a runway train that 'bursts' out of a wall over the cinema's entrance.

Open to fully vaccinated individuals only, Dadi Cinema tickets are available online, via the Dadi Cinema app or at ticket counters within the cinemas themselves.
