Concerts are back on the agenda after being cancelled for months (or even years) thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic and South Korean boy band, BTS is kicking things off with a live concert this November in Los Angeles, said the band’s management on September 28.

The concert, titled Permission to Dance on Stage, will take place at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles between November 27 to 28 and December 1 to 2.

“Holding an in-person concert in the midst of Covid-19 is not easy,” Big Hit Music said in a statement posted on its online fan platform, Weverse.

“We are able to hold the concert in the United States after taking the national and regional health regulations and circumstances into consideration,” it continued.

The live concert will be the first in-person concert that the septet will be undertaking since they ended their tour in North America, Europe and Asia in April 2019.

The band was also forced to call off what would have been their biggest international tour as Covid-19 worsened around the world in 2020. It would have involved nearly 40 concerts if it had gone on as planned.

Instead, the band went on to play a number of virtual concerts including one in October last year which saw over 990,000 viewers from 191 countries in attendence.

They will also be livestreaming a virtual concert called BTS Permission to Dance On Stage on October 24 through Weverse.
