Hong Kong’s Cantopop sensation, Mirror will be performing at the New Year concert set to take place at the Art Park in West Kowloon Cultural District

After three years of muted celebrations, the New Year countdown is making a physical return to Hong Kong with an exciting concert at the West Kowloon Cultural District’s Art Park. Featuring a star-studded lineup, appearances include Hong Kong’s hottest boy band, Mirror and other popular stars such as AGA, Alfred Hui and Gin Lee.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra—the first Asian orchestra to receive the prestigious Gramophone Orchestra of the Year Award in 2019—will also be performing.

Open to the public for free, a total of 3,000 tickets will be given out to 1,500 fully vaccinated winners in a lucky draw, which is open between November 15 to 24. Each winner will receive two tickets. The concert will also be broadcast live on ViuTV and on the Hong KongTourism Board’s website for those who are welcoming the new year at home and for global audiences.

The first New Year concert of its kind, attendees can expect an outdoor experience rarely seen in local performing art scenes––which will take place at the brand new Art Park. The countdown clock will also be displayed on the facade of the newly opened M+ so that the public can welcome 2022 in unison.

With Mirror performing at the concert, tickets are expected to be highly sought after. The public can enter by registering on the event website during the lucky draw dates and all attendants must be fully vaccinated.

Attendees are required to record their visit with the LeaveHomeSafe app upon admission. To prevent ticket speculation, real-name ticketing will be enforced and winners are required to present documents when collecting the tickets in person and upon admission.
