Tatler speaks with six personalities about what they are looking forward to in 2022

1. Franco Laurel

I am looking forward to travelling to the US with my family. We hope that the vaccines for children ages 4-11 will be ready and available soon so that my two youngest children Sofia and Lucia can get vaccinated and fly with us to the West Coast and have a grand time at Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc. After being cooped up in the house for almost two years, we definitely need a change of environment where we can build beautiful memories together.

2. Nicole Andersson

I’m looking forward to being reunited with my family and loved ones. Being away has been great for my mental health but there is never a replacement for home.

3. Camille Lhuillier

Tatler Asia

In 2022, I am looking forward to a more open and vaccinated world that is returning back to normal. I am hoping for an election that is safe and fair, and most of all, to finally have the wedding of my dreams in Italy.

We have postponed the wedding four times, and are very much looking forward to celebrating with friends and family in my favourite city. I am also looking forward to a more open economy so that everyone is able to get back what they have lost in the last few years due to Covid.

4. Lana Faith Johnson

Taking everything we have experienced from the past couple of years and learning from what we all have been through, I look forward to our continued resilience as we transition back to normal. And take these life lessons to add more value to what I do.

5. Sam Wilson

I’m looking forward to watching people enjoy their lives again. Whether it’s travel, socialising, sports, entertainment— we’ve all had something taken away from us over the last 18 months that we are beginning to gain access to again. On a personal note, I’ve enjoyed my past year because of good habits and an early morning routine. If I can continue living by those standards, then I will have a lot to look forward to!

6. Cyndi Fernandez Beltran

Definitely looking forward to the economy opening up, to travelling, to being with family and slowly getting our pre-pandemic lives back. Of course, all that with a renewed appreciation of life, carrying with us all the lessons we’ve learnt in the process.
